Cadeaux!

Elle a donc demande a Francois: “And you sit there?”

Aucun Lavallois n’a voulu l’aider. Pour cela il a fini par nous dire: “If they really want to separate well they should built a wall around and fill it with water!”

Merci Laval.

Thursday, from Penticton to Armstrong

A pretty uneventful day. The road was very busy but the shoulder was nice. The temperature was cool, not sunny but comfortable. The climbs were long but gently sloping, as our legs like them. A fairly easy 143km.

While filling up our flasks in Kelowna, a lady saw that there was some place left on Bob (our trailer), behind my bike. She then asked François : “And you sit there?”

Our camping neighbour, Gordon, is a nice fellow who offered us his BBQ and place settings so that we could have a warm meal. As we were talking, he told us that his only experience in Québec had been awful, as his car broke down in Laval. Not a single Lavallois helped him. He ended up telling us : “If they really want to separate, well they should build a wall around and fill it with water!”

Thanks, Laval.
